A taste of university - starting degree courses early

Why wait to get to university to begin studying at university level? Students who are ready for the next level of academic challenge can get a headstart on learning by selecting from the range of courses now offered online.

We have often used online courses to expand our educational offer in accordance with students' unique interests and career goals. In recent years online courses have become increasingly available and our students now benefit from the robust academic rigour offered from classes provided by prestigious universities and higher educational institutions from around the world.

Current and recent studies taking place in our classroom include:

Stanford University - Disaster Medicine Training

This course provides a foundation of in the knowledge required to effectively respond to a disaster. This is an 8-week course 1-2 hours per week. This course was developed through SEMPER, Stanford Emergency Medicine Program for Emergency Response, and is accessed by our student through edx.org.

The Weizmann Institute of Science - Maths Puzzles: Cryptarithms, Symbologies and Secret Codes

In this course students develop problem-solving skills, gain knowledge about the history, art and methodology of encrypted puzzles, and exercise their brains with fun challenges. This is a 3 week course, 4-hours per week which our student accesses through futurelearn.com.

The Weizmann Institute of Science - An introduction to Recreational Math: Fun, Games and Puzzles

This course asserts that math doesn’t have to be boring or difficult. In fact learning about recreational math can not only enhance your creative thinking but it can be exciting and useful in daily life. This is a 3 week course, 2-hours per week which our student accesses through futurelearn.com.
