Biochemical Food Tests
This practical allowed students to test for the presence of carbohydrates (starch and glucose) and protein and to learn which substances are used for the test and the colour change that happens when the reaction occurs. This experiment supports the learning of the Food and Digestion topic for GCSE Biology.
