Spring Fever and an RHS GARDENING AWARD!

Spring has well and truly sprung in our classroom garden! As we bid farewell to the frosty days of winter (we hope), we are greeted with the lovely sight of colourful blooms. Our spring bulbs have started to emerge, carpeting our flowerbeds with Daffodils, Crocuses, Hyacinth and Tulips. It’s amazing to think these bulbs spent all winter underground!

This month we received our Level 3 School Gardening Award from the Royal Horticultural Society. The award recognises Young People’s achievements in understanding gardening principles, sustainable practices, and environmental stewardship over the past year. Our colourful flowerbeds are a wonderful example of this, and a reminder of the hard work, patience and nurture shown by students, to make our classroom garden a place to be celebrated!
