Heavy rain poured for hours on end as Dylan stared out his bedroom window. He took a closer look outside when he noticed a bright flash of light pass across the dark skies above.
With haste he leaped off the bed almost falling over. After steadying himself he quickly moved to put his favourite blue raincoat on and hurried out of the door to see that something had landed in the nearby park.
When he had crossed the deserted roads to reach the entrance of the park he saw a faint glowing coming from the other side of the fence. He clambered over and dropped onto the sodden grass he stood up and started to approach the glowing light. As he got closer the light became brighter and brighter until it almost blinded him to look at it.
Stealing himself for what he was about to do he took a deep breath and charged forwards. As soon as he reached the light, he was illuminated all over from his short stature to his scrawny face and knobbly knees. As he opened his bright blue eyes he saw something and that something was looking back.
