The govt is bringing in new mandatory guidelines regarding the teaching of RSE- Relationships and Sex Education. We are delighted to have specialist Sexual Health Nurse Julia bringing her expertise to this important but sensitive topic. Julia focuses on healthy relationships with advice to help young people keep themselves emotionally and physically safe now and in the future. Through the classroom, young people have the opportunity to meet with Julia individually for a mini lesson or discussion tailored to their needs and age in an unintimidating environment, or they can just say "hi" and get a keyring or some literature.
Julia reminds us all the sexual health clinics in the community are open for emergencies, and taking appointments for non-urgent care. Testing kits are available by post so everyone can continue to keep themselves safe despite the challenges of the current era.
