As a Rights Committed school we recognise Article 27, the right to an adequate standard of living. Friday 15th March was Red Nose Day and the classroom at Simmons House took the time out to acknowledge this. Every small contribution to Comic Relief makes a difference; awareness and funds which have been raised help vulnerable communities in the UK and internationally to free themselves from poverty. Clean water, safe housing, accessible services, gender equality and improved health services are some of the incredible changes which have been made possible through Comic Relief.
Red Nose Day stickers were handed out and balloons were blown up to mark the occassion. Staff and pupils shared some time outside to play Red Nose day themed games which was a lot of fun.
