Simmons House Classroom have been lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to participate in a Circus Aerial Skills workshop throughout the month of January. This takes place weekly on a Tuesday and so far has been a success.
Scarabeus Aerial Theatre has been established internationally for over 28 years and aims to create exciting performances bringing together physical movement with narrative especially constructed for Aerial focused sites both indoors and outdoors. Students have has the opportunity to use suspended cocoons integrated in a sequence of movements especially designed for aerial theatre. Throughout the duration of the workshops , new sequences will be learnt and new exciting challenges will be presented.
