Our student earned themselves a well deserved AQA certificate in Carpentry: Use of Power Tools this week, learning the necessary skills to build a beautiful key holder out of birch ply wood and pine.
This is just one of the many craft workshops we've hosted in recent weeks, covering a variety of activities including lino printing, batik, contemporary potato printing, nail art, candle making, and t-shirt design. Each workshop provided an opportunity to earn an AQA Unit Award, enhancing their CV with valuable skills and creativity. This serves as the perfect stepping stone into our post-16 life skills curriculum, which we will be focusing on in the upcoming weeks.
