Back by popular request , following on from the success of last years charity event; the classroom decided to relaunch the charity project selling fabric covered diaries to staff in a bid to raise money for the charity 'Young Minds'.
Young Minds are a charity focused on supporting mental health in children and adolescents with a view to ensuring that they feel empowered and informed whatever the challenges are that they are facing. Young Minds want to ensure that young people have the best possible mental health support and are equipped with enough resilience to overcome lifes difficulties. Awareness of Mental Health in children and young people is increasing and hopefully this will continue.
Here in Simmons House we want to support this as much as possible therefore we have decided to raise money for Young Minds again this year.
