The classroom has started a project to raise money for the charity, Young Minds. This is a charity which we have chosen as they are specifically committed to improving the well-being and mental health of children and young people. We were donated a selection of beautiful sample fabrics and have started making purses and card holders and covering notebooks and diary's. Staff were given the opportunity to put in orders with the students in return for a donation to Young Minds which has proven to be very popular in the run up to Christmas.
