Staff and students are contributing to piloting a film-based project tackling resilience against homelessness.
A film, "The Mouse," has been specially made by director Theo Baines in consultation with Psychiatrist Simon Lewis. Initial viewings and feedback from ex-patients was incorporated into revisions of the film which is now complete and has been previewed by teachers from across Tier 4 Units at the annual Units United teachers' event. With guidance from the Anna Freud Centre, current patients will contribute to how the learning programme is rolled out across adolescent units across the country.
You may wonder what a mouse has to do with anything... I guess you'll have to wait until you get your chance to see the film.
